We've been waiting to resume service until we had fuel, chemicals and electricity. Our latest information from FPL is that our power will be restored Friday night. We do not want to wait until next week to start getting your pools in shape. We were able to get to the office today and were so happy to see we got a chlorine delivery! We've loaded the trucks with the chemicals and were able to get them gassed up as well. So two out of three isn't so bad! We will start assessing and adding chemicals to pools tomorrow, Wednesday October 5. We are doing a modified schedule and a chemical only service as well as the assessment, so that we can touch and treat every pool this week.

If your normal day is Thursday or Friday, we will be out there on Wednesday. Pools normally serviced on Monday or Tuesday will be seen on Thursday, and if your usual day is Wednesday, we will be there this Friday. We still do not have electricity, so we will not be able to vacuum pools. Hopefully by next week we will be back to regular service...both the schedule and the full cleaning. We wanted to get chems into every pool on service, so that it is not such an uphill battle when we resume full service.

Our priorities this week are to assess what your pool needs in terms of repair and to get chemicals in the water. We will not be able to vacuum. Please also keep in mind that we are not equipped to remove large debris from your pool. Please do your best to have anything metal removed from your pool to prevent permanent damage to the pool surface. Our techs will be by next week (provided we have electricity at the office!) to vacuum your pools as per our usual routine. We will be able to get leaves and dirt from the pool at that time.

We are only able to service those people that are already on our weekly service. We do not have the capacity to add new pools at this time. If our techs notice repair needs at your pool, you will be notified and given the option to hire us to do the repairs. Our repair team will be working starting tomorrow as well. We haven't had full access to our voicemail, but found a remote work around. We will be reviewing our messages and getting to everyone in the order that we received the calls. You are also welcome to send us an email: jessica@poolboyinc.com.

Thank you so much for all your patience and understanding. We are truly blessed that all of our employees made it through Hurricane Ian without loss of life or limb. Even though several of them suffered losses to their homes, they are coming into work to get your pools cared for. We hope you and your family are safe and doing as well as you can in these difficult times. We are so very grateful for your business!

We hope you all survived Hurricane Ian relatively unscathed. A few of our employees had some major losses, and we currently do not have power, internet, or phone at our office. We are working hard to get back to regular service as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will get all of our service customers back in tip-top shape.

In the meantime, please try to remove as much debris as you can from the pool, especially metal pieces that have the potential to stain the pool. Use our contact form to add your name to the list for pool cage repairs.
